At Art House, we know dance is about so much more than learning steps. It helps our students grow in confidence, build life skills, and discover the joy of performing, all while having fun! Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing some of the amazing benefits that dance can bring, starting with one of our favourites: community!

One of the best things about dance is the people you share the journey with. From making friends in class to supporting each other on stage, being part of a studio means being part of a community where everyone belongs. ⭐️

Time to meet our new teacher… drum roll please… the very wonderful Cat Ryalls

We couldn’t be more thrilled that after 4 years at university she’s back to teach dance at the Art House.
Many of you will know that Cat grew up as a student with us, she assisted me (Carolyn) in classes for 6 years, and whilst at university regularly returned to teach at holiday workshops, and help out at the shows. She’s now back from university and is raring to go as our newest teacher. She’ll be with us every Saturday in Studio 2, taking solos, duets, trios, and small groups 😊. This is a brilliant opportunity for any pupils who’d like to have an extra dance in the next Art House show and we know they’re going to love having Cat as their teacher. Wishing you a warm welcome back Cat 🥰!

Today we’re shining a spotlight on our amazing studio owner and headteacher, Carolyn! Most of you already know her as the heart of Art House: teaching, choreographing, and keeping everything running behind the scenes ⭐️💖⭐️

We’re so grateful for everything she brings to the studio, from inspiring our students in every class, to making Art House such a warm and welcoming place!

Welcome back everyone! We hope you all had a wonderful summer, we can’t wait to fill the studio again with dancing, singing and lots of smiles! ⭐️☺️⭐️

Studio 1 has had a little glow-up over the holidays (it’s not quite finished yet, but it’ll be worth the wait 👀) and we’re so excited for you to see it!

📅 Our first half term runs from Monday 1st September to Saturday 25th October, and we can’t wait to kick it off with you all! Who’s ready for a new term filled with fun? 💃🎭🩰

👑 What an amazing week we had at our Summer School last week! Our QUEENS absolutely smashed their routines inspired by Six, we loved the creativity and enthusiasm they brought to every routine! ⭐️💜⭐️
